5/5 Fae Friends Working Together
This is book 2 in the Court series.
For those of you who remember my review of A Court of Thorns and Roses, you will remember that I had some reservations about this story. Fortunately, all my complaints were addressed in book 2. The romance was realistic, dreamy, and sexy. Also, Feyre was no longer so irrational and full of stupid decisions. The best part was Rhysand, my favorite character. We got to see lots of him. If that sounds good to you, then keep reading!
What is it about?
After the events of Under the Mountain, Freyre is falling apart. She is wasting away deep inside a depression and her friend and lover hardly seem to notice as they plan parties and go about Fae business without her. There seems to be no one to help her understand her new body and powers, and no one to help her soul and broken heart.
Meanwhile, the evil King of Hybern is moving forward with his plans of war and conquest. Amarantha was only a test, and the King has everything he needs destroy the wall and human kind with it.
Was it good?
Hell yes! I loved this book so much more than the first one. In fact, when I finished it last night, I had absolutely no desire to start another book because it wasn’t part of this series. I almost bought book 3 on the spot, but my husband encouraged me to wait until Christmas…
I had a terrible night sleeping thinking about all the stuff that might happen in book 3 and I really need to know.
What’s a girl to do?
I sure hope Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff can help take my mind of things…
This book is one of my favourite books ever, it’s just sosososo good!
Great review! 😊

I really liked it, too! I can’t wait to read the next one, do you think it was as good?

YES. At first I was disappointed with how short and unfinished the ending was. But now after Sarah J. Maas announced that there is another book with the same characters I can live with it 😊

Yes, that’s why I generally wait for the library, but the library said I’m number 76 of 20 copies… 😭

Oh dang. Well I guess that makes sense, depending on how many ebooks they purchase. Hope you can get to it soon!

I can understand the feeling! I started reading Godsgrave but I’m having trouble getting into it and I’m still thinking of ACOMAF.
