4/5 Train Cars
What is it about?
This book is part of the Hercule Poirot series, but you do not have to have read any of the others for it to make sense.
In this book, Hercule Poirot is taking a train home when a murder occurs. He, being a successful detective, is asked to look into the matter.
Was it good?
The back cover of my book hails this as “the best mystery of all time” or something like that. I wouldn’t go that far, but it was an enjoyable read. I was quite surprised at the resolution because Agatha Christie managed to fool me into following her false leads. I also enjoyed Christie’s writing style.
I have not seen either of the movies (old or new) but am interested in doing so.
