  3. Career of Evil
  4. Letha White
  5. TBD

What is it about?

Strike is back and this time a “famous” author has gone missing and Strike is hired to bring him back to his wife. This will be a nice change from the cheating spouses he spends most of his time following. His assistant Robin is eager to help and do more detective work.

Was it good?

I listened to the audiobook for this story, and I didn’t love the narrator. He has a really deep voice which means that all the female characters sound weird, and I would say that more than half of the characters were female.

What I did like about this story is that the resolution completely surprised me but still made so much sense!

I remember really loving book 1. I enjoyed book 2 as an audiobook, but I think I will read the book version for book 3.
