Was it good?

This is the book that sparked the HBO show True Blood, although the rest of the books go off in a slightly different direction. I read all of these books many years ago when I was in high school and college and didn’t have nearly as much responsibility as I do now. I loved the books then, and I enjoyed this one even now.

I don’t normally re-read books, but my hair is falling out in clumps, and I haven’t been sleeping well. I think I’m stressed. Homeschooling, or even just being home with 3 lovely but loud and messy boys, is hard. I wanted to read something familiar that made me relax and feel good. This was it, and I enjoyed my re-reading experience so much I am going to continue with book 2.

These books are short, and light. Sometimes they are sad, sometimes they are creepy, and sometimes they are funny. There are vampires, telepaths, shape shifters, and psychopath killers.
