Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris

Hello readers! I have been silent for the above reason! I have spent the last month or two re-reading the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris and learning how to crochet. I’ve made 2 scarves and 3 mittens (all for my kids). I still need to make at least one more mitten, and then I may try my hand at some warm winter socks.

I have also read a ton of books to my 3 littles, but that can be saved for another post (assuming I make time to write more, hahaha).

The baby has been asleep for 2 hours, but I just left the 4 and 2 year old and they are still chatting away up there. I don’t know whose idea it was, but we were playing a rhyming game which they continued when I left:

Frank (4) : Mercer, what rhymes with cow?

Mercer (2): Cow!


Frank: Gorilla rhymes with go.

Mercer: No, gorilla rhymes with gorilla, silly!

Frank: I’m not silly, I’m right. You are silly. … Oh, I’ve got one!
